The Durham Region Association of Realtors reported an 11 % increase↑↑↑ in residential🏘🏘 transactions in Durham Region in the first month of 2021 📅 compared to first month of 2020.

 

With the number of new 🆕 listings in Durham being 51% higher 🔝🔝🔝compared to December, Durham Region continues to see an influx of buyers👦👧👪👫 in our marketplace, & with that, we are anticipating an early spring 🌷🌷🌷market.

 

The 🤩🤩🤩average selling price was $876,133 in January, representing a 13% increase from the same time previous month.

 

The MLS Home Price Index benchmark price for single family detached home 🏡🏡🏡 in Durham Region reached $786,900 (a 24.4% increase year over year).

 

According to Stats Canada, Oshawa Census Metropolitan Area had a population growth of 2.1% in 2020 (this includes Oshawa, Whitby, Clarington)
